Anyway, as I said in the last news post, on December 17th we will be hosting a tournament on Tenhou to promote the new league several Osamuko.com staff members have created To satisfy all time zones the tournament is 8 hours long, so there will probably be times when no one is queuing, if this happens just come to the IRC channel (#osamuko@irc.rizon.net) and ask for players!

[Ranking] Players are ranked according to their best score from 3 consecutive games. For example, if a player had -23 +45 +53 +35 -45, his score would be +133

Last time I posted about a championship on Tenhou I was asked to post things like this sooner so I’m posting this a day before the event! I’m talking about the “RIVAL jyougaisen IN tenhou harubasho”, you’ve probably seen the ad on tenhou. I’ll play if Harold Camping is wrong and I’ll dump the logs here or in a new post. I was thinking of streaming my games there but my microphone is broke would you guys want to watch them while listening to music and chatting in IRC (irc://irc.rizon.net/osamuko)?

The writers at osamuko are very lazy. Despite numerous of attempts to update regularly we’ve failed miserably. These news articles were one such attempt but stuff like Umaikeiki’s computer breaking for the umpteenth time or Umaikeiki getting addicted to crack always seem to hinder his attempts to write them.
Merry (belated?) Christmas to all readers. Sorry but unlike April Fools there’s no custom banners for Christmas. They’re on my todo list.

Or Monthly Forked Tree Cup? Tsuno is testing the servers capabilities by running a free tournament on tenhou at 22:00 JST or 13:00 GMT. 1st-10th get 30 days of premium membership. Last time Tsuno tried running a free tournament (Saki Cup) it crashed the server.
