This blog might not have tons of updates, but that doesn’t mean the editors aren’t out keeping tabs on the Mahjong world. There are plenty of items that are of minor interest, but nobody feels the need to take the time to write an entire post about them. I thought I’d start collecting them so that you too can keep up with all the LATEST HAPPENINGS in Mahjong. Or maybe it’ll just provide some brief amusement when you’re bored and looking for a distraction.

The new seed has been established. Group C has one pair of players seeing each other again. Lists were generated pseudo-randomly as before. I also took into account the preferred session, the only people who have crossed over are people who said they were really OK with switching to either (me, eirei, and xKime… osamu and XshinjiX are at the same as last time). I also have to talk to Trantez if he wants in on a more regular basis or if I have to hire a stunt double from the crowd. Continue reading
Hey, fellow league players!
I was thinking that it would be a good idea to give anyone who wanted to leave a little message about their experience or the hands that they had to e-mail me, so we can collect a digest, a kind of “Best of” series. We’ve had that one game end with Daisangen, a lot of the late games ending with bust scores, and we’ve had plenty of other moments full of emotion, decision-making, hardships, glorious victories and crushing defeats. We got a good turnout with 23 out of 24 participants showing up. One had to be replaced, big thanks to Trantez for filling the gap.
Congratulations to Humour, VgameT and HatHair for taking the top 3 this time around.
The list will be sorted better when I have time. Ranks are there, and the over-the-line stuff is split up. Decimal points with underscores are calculated with Tenhou’s rounding.
